The RV world is always evolving, with new trends and innovations hitting the market each year. As we look forward to 2025, there are some exciting developments that every RV enthusiast should know about.

From enhanced outdoor spaces to advanced suspension systems, the RV industry is setting new standards for comfort, safety, and style.

In a video from “All About RVs” by Jared Gillis, who recently attended the RV Super Show in Tampa, he shared some incredible trends:

1. Enhanced Outdoor Spaces

One of the most noticeable trends in 2025 is the increased use of outdoor spaces, specifically decks on RVs. As Jared Gillis mentions, “It seems like all manufacturers are either having floor plans with decks on them or options to be able to add decks.” These decks come in various styles, including covered decks that resemble houseboats and shorter, more compact versions. Imagine sipping your morning coffee on your deck, feeling like you’re on a mini houseboat. Just don’t forget to wave at your neighbors—they might think you’ve gone a bit overboard!

2. Stronger Foundations and Suspensions

Another significant trend is the strengthening of the foundation and suspension systems in RVs. According to Jared, “The first place that I noticed this was in the new Grand Design Super C.” These improvements include features like Fox Racing BDS radius arms and steering stabilizers, making for a smoother and safer ride. “The way this coach runs and drives is important,” says Mike, the product manager. With these robust foundations, you might feel like you’re driving a tank—just remember, it’s still an RV, not an off-road monster truck!

3. Lighter and Brighter Interiors

The trend towards lighter and brighter interiors continues to grow. Jared notes, “We’re starting to see a Euro style really start to set in.” This design trend makes the interior feel more spacious and modern. If you’re a fan of IKEA, you’ll love this new look. Just be prepared for the occasional, “Did I accidentally walk into a Swedish furniture store?” from your friends.

4. Quieter and More Efficient AC Systems

In 2025, RV manufacturers are focusing on quieter and more efficient air conditioning systems. Jared highlights the Furion Chill Cube, stating, “This is the quietest AC that I’ve ever had.” These AC systems are not only quieter but also draw less power and are more efficient. With these new systems, you can finally enjoy a cool, peaceful night’s sleep without feeling like you’re sleeping next to a jet engine. Just don’t blame us if you start dreaming of winter wonderlands!

5. Advanced Slide Technology

New advancements in slide technology are also making waves. Jared mentions two new pieces of technology from Lippert, including a motor located on the outside of the frame for easier servicing and the SH slide, which offers more adjustability. “It’s going to be way easier to access this and get to the parts that you need,” Jared explains. With these innovations, even the least handy RV owners might start feeling like professional mechanics. Just remember, WD-40 and duct tape can only get you so far!

6. Improved Tank Treatments

The competition in RV tank treatments is heating up, with products like Liquefied expanding their range. Jared shares, “Liquefied has been expanding their products to different scents, toilet bowl cleaners, grey tank additives, and sensor cleaners.” With enticing scents like orange and lavender, your RV bathroom might start smelling better than your home bathroom. Just don’t be surprised if your guests start asking for your secret air freshener recipe!
