Las Vegas is famous for its dazzling lights, endless entertainment, and world-class attractions—but did you know it also boasts some top-notch RV resorts?

If you’re planning a road trip to Sin City and want a comfortable place to park your home-on-wheels, the Oasis RV Resort might be on your radar.

With its close proximity to the Strip, a host of amenities, and a reputation for being one of the more upscale RV parks in the area, Oasis seems to have a lot going for it.

But is it really the oasis it claims to be, or just another mirage in the desert?

In the video below, we break down the highlights—so keep reading for the inside scoop, and be sure to watch the full video at the bottom!

1. Check-In Experience and First Impressions

Upon arrival at Oasis RV Resort, guests are greeted by a security guard and a smooth check-in process.

The reviewer notes, “You come in here, you check in with security and then they have these pull-throughs where you can stop your vehicle as you come into register.”

The main office is open until 10:00 PM, with security handling late arrivals, so you can pretty much roll in whenever your luck at the blackjack table runs out. The atmosphere is described as “really pretty,” and the main building houses a café, gift shop, and even a little gambling area—because it wouldn’t be Vegas without a slot machine or two!

Honestly, if the check-in line gets long, just try your luck at the slots and maybe you’ll win back your nightly rate.

2. Amenities: Pools, Spa, and More

Oasis RV Resort offers a range of amenities, including a heated family pool, adults-only pool, and a spa.

According to the video, “It’s a really nice pool… it is heated, but it is a little chilly and it’s actually drizzling a little bit this morning.” There’s also live music at the café and plenty of seating around the pool area, plus, “the adults only spa or hot tub area is at so plenty of space.”

The reviewer jokes about the proximity to the airport, saying, “You can hear [the planes] when you’re outside but I haven’t really noticed any noise in our actual RV spot.”

Who needs white noise apps when you have real jet engines? At least you won’t be woken up by wildlife—unless you count the leaf blowers.

3. Campsite Details and Parking Challenges

The campsites at Oasis are designed for larger rigs, but as the reviewer points out, “The sights are, you know, they’re not super long but it is long enough… We kind of had to do the same thing with our Gladiator because it was too long, we were still actually coming off the sight just a little bit.”

A trash can and picnic table are provided at each spot (though apparently, the picnic table is mostly for decoration in November). The reviewer received a warning about parking overflow: “We got this this morning which is a lovely little warning that we’re going to be towed in 24 hours if we don’t move our vehicle.”

So, if you have a long rig, be prepared for some creative parking—or risk an impromptu game of hide-and-seek with security. Vegas may be the city that never sleeps, but apparently, your Jeep can’t nap just anywhere.

4. Location and Access to the Las Vegas Strip

One of the biggest perks of Oasis RV Resort is its location.

The reviewer shares, “You are close to Vegas, you’re close to being able to go see all these things… It’s about a 12-minute drive to get up into the Strip so you can easily Uber up to that.” They spent a day exploring the Strip, hitting up attractions like the M&M store and the Stranger Things pop-up, and even managed 20,000 steps—so bring your walking shoes (or a Segway, if you’re feeling fancy).

The reviewer adds, “There’s so much to see in Vegas… even just walking through the hotel lobbies and seeing what it looks like was cool for them to experience.”

Just don’t try to walk from the RV park to the Strip unless you’re training for a marathon—or you’ve lost all your Uber money at the in-house slot machines.

5. Overall Experience and Final Thoughts

While Oasis RV Resort offers convenience and amenities, the reviewer notes, “I certainly wouldn’t put Oasis RV as one of our favorite Resorts… it wasn’t a great experience having a really tight spot and then kind of being yelled at for the car not fitting.”

However, they acknowledge, “It’s really closely located into downtown… until we decide to switch over to a class A… this is probably the next best place to stay.”

In summary: Oasis RV Resort may not be a jackpot, but it’s a decent bet if you want to be near the action. Just keep your parking skills sharp and your sense of humor sharper—after all, what happens in Vegas… stays in the overflow lot.
